Richard Kruzikas

Eagle Bridge – Richard Kruzikas, 69, passed away on Sunday December 27, 2015 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vermont. He resided on Eagle Bridge Road with his wife Diane (Kozloski) Kruzikas.

[private]Richard was born on January 3, 1946, in Germany, son of the late Pranas and Eleanor (Kavaliunas) Kruzikas. He graduated from Loyola University in Chicago with a B.A. in Finance. Richard was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed golfing and was the Treasurer of the Sportsman Golf League at the Van Pattern Golf Coarse. Richard also enjoyed fishing trips to Canada.

Survivors other than his wife include their children Denise (Corey) Wilt of Island Lake, IL, Aleeza Oppelt of Schenectady, NY, Richard (Kristin) Kruzikas of Ballston Lake, NY, sister Virginia Hill of Milwaukee, WI, nephews Patrick and Daniel Hill of Madison, WI, grandchildren Courtney and Lauren and aunt Aldute Kavaliunas.

Relatives and friends called at the Mahar Funeral Home, on Thursday December 31. Funeral services were private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the JDRF Diabetes Association through the funeral home.[/private]
