The Troop was asked to help with the service in several ways: The troop provided two scouts to act as acolytes and light the candles, several scouts acted as greeters and handed out programs to the service, and two brave scouts acted as readers during the service.

After the service the scouts helped to set up the church for a chili cook-off fundraiser. All the scouts were treated to a sampling of chilis, chowders and soups. William Prather-Holman entered the chili cook-off with his special white chili and won for his special recipe.

If you are interested in Scouting come to a meeting at the PVMCC the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 6:30 pm.[/private]
