Lots To Bid On At RPA’s Winter Woodland Gala And Auction

A mountain bike valued at $400 is the latest donation to the Rensselaer Plateau Alliance’s  auction, part of RPA’s Winter Woodland Gala which will be held at Old Daley on Crooked Lake on Thursday, February 25.

The Giant Revel bike is a gift from Tim Bonnier, owner of Tomhannock Bicycles in Johnsonville.  Other auction items include a spa day at Canyon Ranch and tickets to Ramblewild adventure park, RPI hockey, ValleyCats baseball and performances at The Palace Theatre, Troy Music Hall, SPAC, Capital Rep and the Sand Lake Center for the Arts.

Gala attendees will also be able to bid on original art, gear, a week of summer camp at Dyken Pond, a unique Return on Life travel plan consultation at Blue Skies Travel, valued at $495, and more.

Tickets for the gala are still available for $55, which includes a cocktail hour starting at 6:30 pm, followed by a buffet dinner at 7:30.  Information on purchasing tickets online is on the home page of the Rensselaer Plateau Alliance’s web site: rensselaerplateau.org/gala.

All money raised will help support RPA’s efforts to conserve land in eastern Rensselaer County and to provide recreational and educational opportunities for adults and children.[/private]
