Petersburg Rod And Gun Club Sets 5th Annual Ice Fishing Derby

The Petersburg Rod & Gun Club will be hosting its 5th Annual Ice Fishing Derby, February 6 from 6 am to 3 pm, on Dyken Pond, in Berlin. Bring your family and friends for the competition and enjoy the great outdoors. There will be cash prizes (based on the number of entries) for perch, pickerel and crappie; food, raffles and many other prizes.

[private]The entry fee is $10 adults, $5 for ages 12 and under.  Participants can register at the dam at 5 am or  pre-register at local sponsors, Papa’s Pizza, Rte. 2 Petersburgh (658-2700), Hewitt’s Market, Elm Street, Berlin 658-2801, Vonadeau Wine & Spirits, Main St., Berlin 658-2450 and Valley Tavern, Elm Street, Berlin 763-6826.  Parking is available at the Dyken Pond Environmental Center.
