Among those joining Legislative Chairman Stan Brownell were State Senator Kathy Marchione and Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin and Rensselaer County Executive Kathy Jimino.  A second ceremony was held to honor Irv Mason, another Korean War vet and lifetime member of VFW 6340.  Mr. Mason also served two terms on the Grafton Town Council and is the father of current Town Clerk Kathy Mason-Wagar.  Also honored was Maxine Hasbrouck, the late wife of long time Grafton Highway Superintendent Herb Hasbrouck.  Mr. Hasbrouck is President of the Rensselaer County Highway Superintendent’s Association and was joined at the ceremony by many other highway superintendents and family.[/private]
