Hoosick Falls Mayor David Borge announced today that the two banks that had stopped lending and refinancing due to the water crisis are now lending again. [private]Both The Bank of Bennington and Trustco Bank ended their mortgage moratoriums for Hoosick Falls as soon as the water was declared safe to drink and to cook with by the NYS DOH. The Hoosick Federal Credit Union and Key Bank had been continuing to approve mortgages and refi’s during the crisis.[/private]
