Hall And Zlotnick Become Eagle Scouts

Troop 222 has announced that two of its scouts have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. On April 9 at 3 pm at the Berlin High School, the troop will celebrate a double Eagle Court of Honor for Trevar Hall and Michael Zlotnick.
Trevar Hall completed his Eagle project for the Town of Petersburgh by building a lighted Town sign.  Michael Zlotnick completed his Eagle project for the Cherryplain State Park by building a new walking trail along the north side of the lake.[private]

Trevar Hall is the Son of Mark and Marianne Hall and lives in Berlin. He joined Troop 222 in June of 2010 after earning the Arrow of Light in the Cub Scouts. Trevar is involved in Prom Committee and FCCLA at the Berlin High School and is currently attending the BOCES Academy for Information Technology program. Trevar has built a webpage for the troop and currently holds the leadership roles of Instructor and troop webmaster. Trevar has been awarded the Veteran Scouts Community Service 150 hour pin for Volunteer community service.  Trevar plans on going to either Bryant and Stratton or Hudson Valley Community Colleges after he finishes High School. Trevar also has a brother Justin who is a Life Scout in the troop
Michael Zlotnick is the son of Andy and Joan Zlotnick and lives in Petersburgh. Michael attends the Berlin High School’s BOCES program for HVAC and is planning on attending the Hudson Valley Community College’s HVAC program upon completing his BOCES program. Michael joined the Troop in June of 2010 after earning the Arrow of Light in the Cub Scouts. Michael currently holds the leadership positions of Bugler and Assistant Patrol Leader. Michael is also involved in high school soccer, basketball, band and Super Troopers at the Berlin High School. Michael will be working at Rotary Scout Reservation this summer as a camp counselor.  Michael has been previously awarded the World Conservation Award, Veteran Scouts Community Service 125 hour pin for volunteer service hours. Michael is a member of the Boy Scouts Fraternal organization called the Order of the Arrow, Brother Hood member. Michael has a brother Joshua, who is a Life Scout in the troop, Sister Nicole who is studying Biology at Clarkson, and another brother Andrew who is studying Chemical Science at SUNY New Paltz.
