Hoosick Grange

March 17, 2016 By eastwickpress

submitted by Corinne Philpott

It was contest night at the Hoosick Grange on Wednesday, March 9. The judges were hard at work during our business meeting. Master Davis Cornell conducted the business meeting. After the business, [private]it was time for the Lecturer’s program. The Lecturer announced who the judges were: Kendal Baker, Larry Baker, and Elon Baker. She gave each one a gift and a big thank you.

She announced the winner of the gingerbread contest: Martha Babbitt. Then she announced the photography winners. There were three categories: Animals-first place Martha Babbitt, next, Scenery and Nature-first place Corinne Philpott, then People-first place Corinne P.

The lecturer thanked all who entered and each one got a prize.

Refreshments were gingerbread and cream. Everyone enjoyed the gingerbread and fellowship.

Our next meeting is on Wednesday, March 23. The program is: everyone bring a clipping and discussing the water issue that we didn’t get to at the last meeting.[/private]
