Hoosick Has Heart Blood Drive

March 31, 2016 By eastwickpress

On Monday, April 11, from 1-6 m, Hoosick has Heart will hold its second community blood drive of the year. Hoosick Falls Community Alliance Church, 484 Hill Road, will host the event.[private]This drive is being dedicated to those who are suffering from the effects of the water crisis, whether they be physical, emotional, or otherwise. Please come out to encourage these individuals, their families, and our community as we continue to walk through this trial. Rensselaer County Department of Health has given clearance for Town of Hoosick residents to donate blood despite evidence of PFOA in our community’s water.
Hoosick has Heart’s goal for 2016 (community, business, school) is 500 units. Each unit can save up to 3 lives. Will you help?
For more information contact Gail Smith at 686-9888, or you can make an appointment by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or visiting redcrossblood.org. Thanks for giving.[/private]
