Penny Hunt Winners 2016 w

They each rushed to gather as many as they could find in the grass. The ultimate prize for each group, though was the purple penny; whoever found that won the big prize: Easter Baskets, stuffed full of all kinds of goodies. In the two older age groups, it was boys versus boys, and girls versus girls, so there were five prizes in all. The Easter Basket winners are: Boys and Girls 3 and Under: Kyla Sweet of Valley Falls, Girls Ages 4-6: Grace Eastman of Hoosick Falls, Boys Ages 4-6: Spencer Cottrell of Cambridge, Girls Ages 7-9: Jaidyn Wood of Hoosick Falls, and Boys Ages 7-9: Ryan Brock of Hoosick. Pete and Alicea Coon of Hoosick Falls were the members of the winning Egg Toss Team (anyone 10 and over).

Though it was a bit chilly, everybody had a grand time in the sunshine. The Lions Club would like to thank all children, parents, and the public for for participating. The kids would like to thank the Lions Club members who unrolled $125 worth of pennies…that’s 12,500 total pennies!! That’s a lot![/private]
