Larry A. Windsor

Larry A. Windsor, 73, died Saturday at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, VT.  Born in Troy on July 4, 1942, he was the son of the late Harry A. Windsor and Sarah E. Windsor Smith.

[private]Larry was a 1960 graduate of Troy High School.  He was a US Navy veteran.  He graduated from Hudson Valley Community College and from RPI with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science.  He was employed as a licensed engineer for many years in the Capital District.

He was the beloved brother of Jeff (Sandy) Windsor of Eagle Bridge, Nancy Windsor of Troy and Kathy Layne of Hoosick Falls, husband of Joan Bartholomew Windsor of Troy, father of Michael (Jessica) Windsor of Maine and Brian Windsor of Troy, grandfather of Levi and Dylan Windsor.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, March 19 at 11 am at the Meadowlawn Cemetery, Hewitt Road in Petersburgh with Rev. Trygve Tomlinson officiating.  There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are by the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home in Petersburgh.
