Margaret Jones

Hoosick Falls – Margaret Jones, 76, passed away peacefully on Friday March 19, at the Bennington Health & Rehabilitation Center. She resided on Fisk Street in Hoosick Falls.

[private]Margaret was born on December 13, 1939, in Hoosick Falls daughter of the late George and Jennie (Russell) Valentine. She was a homemaker all of her life and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hoosick Falls. Margaret enjoyed time spent with family and adored her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Emma Jones-Higley of Brattleboro, VT., her four grandchildren, five sisters and four brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 26, at 1 pm, from the First Baptist Church on Main Street in Hoosick Falls. A reception in the church hall will follow the service. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.[/private]
