Melissa L. Walrath

Hoosick Falls – Marissa L. Walrath, 22, passed away on Saturday March 5, at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Troy, NY. She resided on Easy Street in Hoosick Falls with her mother Sandy Trembly (George), and was the daughter of Victor Walrath (Debbie) of Johnsonville, NY.

[private]Marissa was born on September 1,1993, in Schenectady, NY. She graduated from Hoosick Falls Central School. Marissa was employed at H&V Collision in Albany, NY, as a Claims Receptionist. She enjoyed sports and the outdoors, playing lacrosse and badminton, rode four wheelers, like to cut wood and have bonfires.

Survivors other than her mother and father include brother Taylor Walrath and his wife Breezy of Broadalbin, NY, step-sister Kayla Brenz her grandparents Don and Carol Nash of Wynantskill, NY, Art and Louise Walrath of Cambridge, NY, also survived by several cousins and many friends.

A Memorial service was held on Monday March 14 at 7 pm at the Mahar Funeral Home in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to HAYC3, through the funeral home.[/private]
