Membership Drive, Raffle, And Events At The Berlin Library

This is a great time to visit the Berlin Free Town Library. In the month of March, the Library is holding a Membership Drive along with a Raffle.  Become a member from March 1 to 31 and you will get a library card and one free raffle ticket to win an Amazon Fire  7” Tablet.  [/private]Drawing is March 31.  For our current Patrons and others in the area, you can purchase raffle tickets at $3 each or 2 for $5.  The tablet comes with a charger and is Wi-Fi ready (which the Library offers free of charge).  More details can be found at our Facebook page or the Library.

March 9, 7:30 pm, the Stephanie Flint Book Club is pleased to present local mystery/romance writer Catherine Bruns.  The public is invited to attend and hear her read from her latest thriller.

March 12, 10:30 am,  Irish Stories and Crafts.   Listen to our storyteller read an Irish children’s tale.  Reading and Craft Activities appropriate for preschool age and up.

March 17, 7 pm, Third Thursday – Adult Coloring night with a St. Patrick’s Day theme.  Children, parents and grandparents are invited.   We have supplies or bring your own.

March 19, 6:30 pm, Irish Jam Night is back.  Come hear some Irish and Celtic music performed by local musicians.  Bring an instrument and join in.  For a small fee, you can play Irish Trivia; winner gets a basket of Irish goodies.  We might even do a little jigging – that’s dancing not fishing.  Refreshments available.  The public is invited.
