A northbound Subaru Outback doing well over the speed limit crossed the center line and blasted through a telephone pole and a mailbox at 6 pm Tuesday evening. [private]
The car, shedding parts and debris in its wake, ended up in front of the old McDonald’s next to the HFCS bus garage. It is believed the driver dropped something and was reaching to find it on the floor. The driver was transported by the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. The Hoosick Falls police, Rensselaer County Sheriffs Department, along with the Hoosick Falls Fire Department, responded to the scene. [/private]
