Sustaining The Hudson Valley

March 31, 2016 By eastwickpress

Rensselaer Plateau Alliance invites the community to a film screening of Sustaining this Place on April 14 at the Sand Lake Town Hall.  Produced by Skidmore College Professor and RPA Board member Rik Scarce, this film presents the stories of farmers, community activists, landscape architects, elected officials, distillers, corporate executives, and others who understand that a lasting, livable tomorrow begins with them and the organizations they create. [private]Together, they make the 10,000 square miles of the Hudson Valley Region one of the most innovative, inspirational places on the planet.  Rik will be available to answer questions at the conclusion of the screening.
Sustaining this Place is the fourth in RPA’s monthly lecture series which began in January 2016. The screening will begin at 7 pm.  There is a $5 suggested donation at the door.  All are welcome. For more information visit the RPA webpage at www.resselaerplateau.org.[/private]
