Gordon T. Hudson

Eagle Bridge – Gordon T. Hudson, 56, passed away on Friday April 1, at his residence on Route 67 in Eagle Bridge. He resided there with his wife Tammy (Sprague) Hudson.

[private]Gordon was born on June 24, 1959, in Knoxville, TN, son of the late Gordon E. and Julia Hudson. He graduated from Central High in Knoxville and LaSalle University of Architects with a B.S in drafting. Gordon served in the United States Marine Corps and later in the Army. He worked as a self-employed carpenter for several years. Gordon enjoyed being with family and friends, and going to his children’s sporting events where he was their biggest cheerleader. Y’all know that Gordon was a “Good Old Country Boy from Tennessee.”

Survivors other than his wife Tammy include their children Meagan Hudson of Knoxville, TN, Zaynah, Zoelena, Ember Poore and Catherine Whitman all of Hoosick Falls, Zachary Sprague of North Hoosick, Mike Poore of Hoosick Falls and Jason Poore of Bronx, NYC, his kinfolk Jean Brewer of Knoxville and Rebecca McDaine of Georgia also survived by many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held Tuesday April 5, at 3 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends called at the funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon prior to the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Hoosick Fire Department through the funeral home.[/private]
