Hoosick Grange News

April 21, 2016 By eastwickpress

submitted by Corinne Philpott

It was music night at Hoosick Grange on April 13. The Mennonite Family Singers were our guests. They sang a variety of songs, then they had the children sing for us.

[private]One of the songs they sang was “Who Made The Stars at Night?” They had various hand gestures to go with each song. After this everyone took part in a sing along. This was followed by a prayer. The lecturer thanked them for a wonderful program. After this the Grange had lots of ice cream, provided by the Stewart’s Store in Saratoga Springs. The Grange had lots of delicious refreshments for the singers.

The lecturer announced that the next meeting would be on April 27, at 8 pm. This is Food Pantry Night and we are going to donate money for the food pantry so they can buy what they need. Refreshment Committee is Mary Remancus and the lecturer will do the program.[/private]
