“I ‘Heart’ Hoosick” Grand Opening Event And Open House

The “I ‘Heart’ Hoosick” event on Monday, April 18, is sponsored by the Hoosick Local Development Corporation (HLDC) and will officially open and celebrate the new businesses in Hoosick. It will be an occasion not to miss. The festivities will conveniently be located at numbers 35, 39, and 41 Church Street from 6 until 8 pm.

[private]HF-LDC-Sprouts2-wThe event will highlight three new local businesses, Little Sprouts Baby Bump & Beyond, which offers reasonably priced gently and barely used clothing, toys and accessories from maternity to junior sizes; Shaw’s Mobile Repair Services LLC providing convenient repairs to automobiles, lawn mowers, ATVs, motorcycles, equipment and more; and Xentrix Hair Saloon a rustic chic salon offering haircuts, color, foils, perms, waxing and tanning. The event will be an opportunity to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, tour the businesses, meet the owners and get special deals.

 

HF-LDC-Shaw1-wStart at 35 Church Street (Little Sprouts) where you will enjoy specials, Sesame Street Cookies, Hoosick Falls coloring sheets and beverages. Renee Parker, Little Sprouts proprietor, will be there to show you around. Next stop is Xentrix Hair Saloon, where you can enjoy cheese and crackers, hors d’oeuvres, iced tea and lemonade while you tour the uniquely decorated rustic chic salon. Owner and licensed beautician, Jennifer Disorda will be onsite for consultations, tours, and more. Continue on to 43 Church Street where you will meet Hoosick native and entrepreneur Matthew Shaw, owner of Shaw’s Mobile Repair who will be offering specials, a look at his mobile business, repair consultation and snacks.

“We hope that Hoosick will join with us in welcoming these new businesses on April 18, and we hope this is one of many HLDC sponsored “I Heart Hoosick” events,” said William Johnson, Hoosick Local Development Corporation Chairman.

A local not-for-profit volunteer organization, the Hoosick Local Development Corporation works to promote, assist, develop and attract new business and industries to the Town of Hoosick and the Village of Hoosick Falls.
