Stephentown – Anne Maureen Van Bramer Demick died peacefully on Thursday afternoon, May 12, 2016. She was born October 8, 1950 to the late John and the late Geraldine Van Bramer.private]
Anne was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1968 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She then went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. Anne then worked in Pennsylvania for a short period of time before moving back to Pittsfield. She held various accounting and bookkeeping positions in Pittsfield and Stephentown before retiring from Ronnie’s Cycle Sales & Service.
She and her husband of 33 years, Eddie, loved their “Manitoo Mountain” and worked together to make it their sanctuary away from the crazy world. Other than her loving husband, Edmund Demick, Jr., she also leaves behind two stepdaughters; Rebecca Schmitt and Carrianne Trask, as well as four grandchildren; Madison Trask, Taylor Trask, Aaron Trask, and Christian Schmitt. Also surviving is her brother, Gene Van Bramer. Anne was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Van Bramer, and by her sister Barbara Bauer.
