Art Exhibit At Berlin Library

May 19, 2016 By eastwickpress

Berlin Free Town Library will host a photographic art exhibit featuring the collaboration between artist/photographer Kevin Stiles and model Gazelle Powers. [private]Photographed in northwest Connecticut, the 14 works on display showcase the creative spirit and inquisitive minds of Stiles and Powers as they explored the potential of each setting, whether natural or constructed. The images sometimes border on the surreal and blur the distinction between digital images and painted pictures.  The exhibit will be up from May 28 through June 10.
The opening reception will be on Saturday May 28, from 4 to 6 pm. Refreshments will be available. The Berlin Free Town Library is at 47 South Main Street in Berlin. The exhibit can be viewed during regular operating hours.  Kevin Stiles is a graduate of Paier School of Art and Southern Connecticut State College. His studio is located in Collinsville, Ct. Gazelle Powers is a professional model based in Virginia.[/private]
