Help Wanted For Kiwanis’ Playground Community Build

May 5, 2016 By eastwickpress

The Hoosick Falls Kiwanis, the Town of Hoosick, and the Village of Hoosick Falls need your help. We are putting the new playground together on Thursday, May 19 from 11 am to 6 pm, Friday, May 20 from 8 am to 7 pm, and on Saturday morning. Bring your own shovel, metal rake, and 3/8ths ratchet wrench. Meals for volunteers have been donated by local restaurants.
On Tuesday, May 24, we will add the swings, etc. Volunteers and their families will test it all out.
The playground will open the next day, Wednesday, May 25.
Anyone that would like to volunteer for any of those days or hours, please call Wendy Larson at 518-429-1646 or text only Gale Leva at 518-578-3348. Thank you!
