Kenneth J. Sbrega, Jr.

Hoosick Falls – Kenneth J. “KJ” Sbrega Jr., 43 passed away on Thursday May 19, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He resided on Pine Street in Hoosick Falls. Kenneth was the son of Kenneth J. and Elizabeth (Dooley) Sbrega Sr. of Hoosick Falls.[private]Kenneth was born on March 14, 1973, in Troy, New York. He attended Hoosick Falls High School and in his earlier years was employed at Fairdale Farms in Bennington, Vermont. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, fishing, working with his father scraping, NASCAR racing, going to races with his brother and building race cars.
Survivors other than his parents include his sons Joshua Sbrega of MA., and Kian Sbrega of VT., step-daughter Ashley Toramino of MA., sister Lisa Sbrega of Hoosick Falls, NY and brother Eric Sbrega of North Hoosick, NY, also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Service was held on Monday May 23 at 7 pm at Mahar Funeral Home in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home prior to the service.
Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Kidney Foundation or the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home.[private]
