Marie R. Arm

Hoosick Falls – Marie R. Arm, 84, of Wood Park Lane went to be with her Lord on May 19 at home, surrounded by her family. Marie was born on November 4, 1931 in Mahanoy City, PA. She graduated from Southside High School in 1949.[private]
Marie worked for Union Carbide for thirty-two years before retiring. After retirement, Marie loved to travel across the country visiting her children, going to the Library, sitting in the park, but most of all she loved her family.
Marie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Olivia Arm of Wildomar, CA, daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Thomas McMartin of Hoosick Falls, NY, son William Arm of LaVerne, CA, daughter and son-in-law Theresa and Kirk Smith of Aurora, CO, daughter and son-in-law Karen and James Gunay of Malta, NY, and daughter Deborah Arm of Cohoes, NY. Her grandchildren David (Emily) McMartin of Voorheesville, NY, Brian McMartin of Hoosick Falls, Jessica Arm of San Francisco, CA, Michael Arm of Redwood, CA, Travis Smith of Aurora, CO, great-grandchildren Jillian and Colin McMartin of Voorhesville, brother and sister-in-law Emil and Rita Krazinski of Elmira, NY, sister-in-law Margaret Krazinski of Horseheads, NY, sister-in-law Katherine Krazinski of Annapolis, MD, Aunt Olga Krazinski of Elmira, NY, several nieces, nephews and a special friend Margarite Guinane of Clifton Park, NY.
Marie was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Marie (Weyer) Krazinsky; her son James Edward; brothers Fred and Leo Krazinski; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Arm of LaVerne, CA.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Tuesday May 24 at 11 am from the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls. Burial followed the Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hoosick Falls. There were no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Immaculate Conception Church, Cheney Library or Community Hospice of Rensselaer County through the funeral home.[private]
