The annual New York Militia and National Guard dinner was held at the Hoosick Falls Country Club on Saturday evening May 7. [private]
The event is held each year to honor the original mustering of the 32 Separate Company into federal service in 1885, making this year the 131st anniversary. Both active and retired soldiers from all branches of the military attend this time-honored event. Sixty-five men attended this year. The guest speaker was Congressman Chris Gibson.[/private]
