Stanley Pettibone

Berlin – Stanley Jon Pettibone Sr., 62 passed away on Thursday May 5, at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. He resided in Berlin New York. He was predeceased by the love of his life Deborah J. (Stark) Pettibone.[private]Stanley was born on March 2, 1954, in Johnsonville, New York, son of the late Daniel and Rose(Cox)Pettibone. Stanley was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He loved to tell stories of his experiences in life. He was an avid fisherman and hunter throughout his life and a big fan of old Western movies, especially John Wayne.
Stanley is survived by his two children Stanley Jon Pettibone II (Jessica) of Berlin New York, and Melissa Pettibone (Jay) of Bennington, VT.
A brother William Burns, and six sisters Sandra Pettibone wilder, Janet Dufty, Lorelei Pettibone, Lynn Lewandusky, Jackie Pazdur, Frances Giroux and his four grandchildren Stanley III, Sierra, Breeze, Nixielynn, and his two adopted grandchildren DJ (Delmar) and Vinny, and many nieces and nephews.  Heather Gifford was a big part of his life.  Stanley was predeceased by a sister Donna Pettibone Rehm and a brother Ross Pettibone.
The service for Stanley will take place graveside at the West Hoosick Rural Cemetery at 2 pm on Sunday May 15, 2016, with a gathering at the West Hoosick Firehouse following the service. The arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.[/private]
