Robert L. Gibbons

Buskirk – Robert L. Gibbons, 79, passed away on Wednesday June 15, at his residence on River Road in Buskirk. He was the husband of the late Catherine Gibbons who died January 18, 2016.[private]
Robert was born on January 23, 1937, in Cambridge, NY, son of the late Arthur C. and Mary (Young) Gibbons Sr. He was educated at schools in Cambridge, NY. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1954 to 1958. Robert was employed at the Stevens & Thompson Paper Mill until retiring. He enjoyed horseshoes, camping, cookouts and time spent with family especially his grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday June 22, at 7 pm, at the Community Alliance Church in Hoosick Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York.[/private]
