Officers were then told that Morrow had taken more than 50 Zantac pills and ran off into the woods behind the home.  This prompted a search that brought in a helicopter from the State Police Aviation and a search dog from the Nassau Village Police Department.  According to Rensselaer County Under Sheriff Ed Bly, the dog helped locate Morrow in a swampy and wooded area between Pond View and Cranberry Pond Roads.  After initially attempting to retrieve Morrow from Pond View, rescue units were successful in reaching him making their entrance from Cranberry Pond Road.  Bly said that Morrow was initially unresponsive when they reached him, but described him as semi-conscious when he was loaded into a Mohawk Ambulance for transport to Albany Medical Center.  At press time, authorities had not issued an update on his condition.
The Grafton Fire Department and Grafton Rescue Squad were also on scene.  The fire department’s track vehicle was instrumental in the rescue.  The woman who reported the assault was not seriously injured and was treated at the scene.  The investigation into any possible criminal charges continues.[/private]
