Reynolds Foundation Gives Grants

[private]On Thursday evening, July 21, the members of the Board of Directors of the Reynolds Foundation, made up of Norma Brenenstuhl, James Monahan, [private]Armand Rousseau, and William Shiland,  presented funds to 8 community groups. A total of $10,000 was given out.

Grateful recipients were: Bill Gaillard for the Town of Hoosick Community Band, Dianne Hosterman for the HACA Food Pantry, Alan Bornt for the North Hoosick Fire Department Disaster Fund, Tom McMartin for Voice of a Vet, Charles Filkins for the Town of

Hoosick Historical Society, A. Rogers for the Hoosick Falls Girl Scout Service Program, Nancy Duket and Josie Sevigne for the Wood Bridge Residents and Carol Gaillard for the Cheney Library Children’s reading program.

Speaking on behalf of the Board, William Shiland thanked each of the organizations for what they do to make the community a better place to live. Edith Craig Reynolds, widow of Marcus Reynolds, was a generous supporter of many Hoosick projects including the Rescue Squad, Little League, Fire Departments and the building of the Community Pool.[/private]
