For the 11th year the Hoosick Area Church Association will be collecting school supplies for Back 2 School Boost. Sign-up sheets are available at the HACA Food Pantry at 26 John Street, as well as all HACA churches, Hoosick Falls Central School and St. Mary’s Academy.[private] Requests will be filled after August 1 as they are received in order that families can plan for any special back to school needs.
Supplies can be left at any HACA Church, the Food Pantry Cart in Tops Market, or Hoosick Federal Credit Union. Suggested items include: backpacks, crayons, erasers, glue, index cards, highlighters, markers, notebooks, loose leaf paper, tab dividers, 3 ring binders, pens, pencils, rulers and pencil boxes
Monetary contributions are appreciated as they enable HACA to purchase backpacks and other specifically needed items. A donation of $20 provides a fully stocked, age appropriate back pack. Contributions may be sent to HACA, PO Box #1, Hoosick Falls, NY 12090.[/private]
