Hoosick Falls CSD Updating Alumni Veteran Flag Plaque

August 18, 2016 By eastwickpress

Submitted by Brian Bushner

The Hoosick Falls Central School District is planning an update to the HFCS Alumni Veteran Flag Plaque. The alumni veteran flag plaque was originally placed in the lobby of the school in 2007 and has been updated periodically since it was dedicated. [private]The plaque honors Hoosick Falls Central School graduates who served in Iraq and/or Afghanistan. The name of the veteran is on the plaque, along with the year they graduated from HFCS, as well as which conflict(s) they served in. HFCSD is again updating the plaque to make sure all alumni who are Iraq and/or Afghanistan veterans are included.

If you know of a veteran who should be listed, please contact District Clerk Pam Cottrell in the District Office at 518-686-7012 x1600 or via email cottrellp@hoosickfallscsd.org.
