New Lebanon Jr/Sr High School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Leaving District

submitted by NLCSD Communications Specialist Kristin LaPlante On August 2 the New Lebanon Central School District announced that Jr/Sr High School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Rick Arkett is leaving the school to serve as the Assistant Principal at Mohonasen Middle School.[private] The resignation is effective August 5. Superintendent Leslie Whitcomb said the District is already searching for a replacement and hopes to have a new administrator on board by October 1. Principal Matthew Klafehn will serve as interim athletic director. “We wish Rick success in his future endeavors, and thank him for the time and energy he has put into our athletic program and district,” said Superintendent Whitcomb. The selected Assistant Principal/Athletic Director candidates will be interviewed by a team comprised of administration, parent, faculty and staff representatives.
