A Toyota Corolla traveling west on Route 7 drove into the rear of a Volkswagen Jetta station wagon Sunday morning while the Jetta was stopped waiting for traffic to pass.[private] The Jetta was turning into Fox Hollow Road, just west of the Olde Dane/Wayside Restaurant building, when struck. The struck vehicle, with
one tire at 90 degree angle to the vehicle, was shoved 35 feet across the roadway. There was extensive damage to both vehicles. Of the three people in the crash, one in the Toyota and two in the Jetta, no one appeared injured. The Hoosick Fire Department, Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad and NY State Police responded to the scene. Cahill’s Garage and Kneer’s Auto each removed one vehicle from the scene.[/private]
