Anna Houser

Pittstown – Anna B. Houser 87, passed away on Wednesday September 7, 2016 at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy, New York. Anna resided in Pittstown and more recently in Troy, NY.[private] Anna was born on January 20, 1929, in Pittstown daughter of the late Edward and Neva (Lewis) Brundige. She graduated from Lansingburgh High School, class of 1946. Anna worked at several area manufacturing companies, retiring from Triangle in Bennington, VT. Survivors include her children Kathy Grogan of Buskirk, NY, Robin Falzo of Troy, NY, John Houser Jr. (Lori) of Brunswick, NY, Maryanne Riley-Pitt (DeForest) of White Creek, NY and James Houser (Liz) of Pittstown, NY, sister Delora Marmillo (Frank) of Hoosick Falls, NY, also thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Anna is predeceased by her daughter Dolores K. Milks and siblings Irene Church, Lewis and George Brundige. A Celebration of Anna’s Life was held on Monday September 12, from 4 to 7 pm, at the Pittstown United Methodist Church Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Pittstown United Methodist Church or the Pittstown Rescue Squad. Arrangements are under the care of the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY.[/private]
