The HFCS golfer season is off to a great start with the team sitting on a 6 – 0 record. [private]After six matches, Ryan Bloomer and Mathew Smith have each shot sectional scores in all six matches, Connor Smith has a sectional score in five of the six matches.
HF 5 – Waterford-Halfmoon 0
Tuesday, 8/30 at HFCC. Hoosick Falls 6 – 0. Ryan Bloomer (HF) won against Patrick Dehler, 5-4. Mathew Smith (HF) won against Dominic Pontore, 5-4, Connor Smith (HF) won against Chris Dehler, 5-4, Hayden Smith (HF) won against Gavin Bodah, 5-3, Gavin Playotes (HF) won against Kyle VanSyckle, 4-3.
Ryan Bloomer and Mathew Smith shot sectional scores. Ryan Bloomer was the medalist with a 35.
HF 3 – Spa Catholic 2
Friday, August 26 at HFCC. Ryan Bloomer (HF) won against Jay Flynn, 3-1, Mathew Smith (HF) won against Terel Tillmen, 3-2, Emma VanDeCar won against Hayden Smith (HF), 2-1, Connor Smith (HF) won against Ben Scammell, 3-2, Jake Welcome won against Gavin Playotes (HF) 2-1.
Ryan Bloomer, Mathew Smith and Connor Smith shot sectional scores. Ryan Bloomer was the medalist with a 36.
HF 4 ½ – Tamarac ½
Wednesday, 8/25 at HFCC. Ryan Bloomer (HF) tied Bobby Simmons. Mathew Smith (HF) won against Will Ashley, 3-1, Hayden Smith (HF) won against Connor Wright, 3-2, Connor Smith (HF) won against Zach Gardner, 3-2, Gavin Playotes (HF) won against Brendan Gardner, 3-2.
Ryan Bloomer, Mathew Smith and Connor Smith shot sectional scores. Bobby Simmons was the medalist with a 39.
