HFCS Golfers Undefeated

With one away match to go, the HFCS golf team is undefeated at 13-0. After the home match against Mechanicville on Monday, the team celebrated its year and its lone senior, Hayden Smith. [private]Hayden presented his mom, Mary Beth, with a flower. The team had a pizza and cake party at the Hoosick Falls Country Club, and the team thanked the Club for its support.

HF 5 – Mechanicville 0 Monday, September 19 at HFCC. HF 13-0. Ryan Bloomer (HF) won against Alex Ciulla, 5-4; Mathew Smith (HF) won against Jake Popiel 4-2; Connor Smith (HF) won against Sean Fitzgerald 5-4; Hayden Smith (HF) won against Tim Coleman, 2 up; Gavin Playotes (HF) won against Devon Garland 2-1. Ryan Bloomer was the medalist with a 39.

HF 5 – Mechanicville 0 Thursday, September 15 at Mechanicville Golf Course. HF 12-0. Ryan Bloomer (HF) won against Alex Ciulla, 4-3; Mathew Smith (HF) won against Jake Popiel 4-2; Connor Smith (HF) won against Tim Coleman, 4-3; Hayden Smith (HF) won against Devon Garland, 2 up; Miles Smith (HF) won against Sean Fitzgerald, 4-3. Mathew Smith was the medalist with a 40.

HF 5 – Hoosic Valley 0 Wednesday, September 14 at HFCC. HF 11-0. Ryan Bloomer (HF) Brett Norman, 2-1; Mathew Smith (HF) won against Oliver Eckler, 5-3; Connor Smith (HF) won against Nolan Rafferty, 5-4; Hayden Smith (HF) won against Justin Beaudoin 5-4; Miles Smith (HF) won against Mitchel Jones, 3-2. Ryan Bloomer, Mathew Smith, Connor Smith and Hayden Smith shot sectional scores. Ryan Bloomer was the medalist with a 39.[/private]
