September 15, 2016 By eastwickpress

Story hour has resumed at the Petersburgh Public Library Tuesday mornings at 11.  All preschoolers and their caregivers are welcome to attend for stories, play, activities, crafts and snacks.

[private]The book discussion in October will be on “The Excellent Lombards” by Jane Hamilton.  The discussion will take place on Wednesday, October 12 at 7 pm.  Copies of the book are available at the library for any who would be interested.  All are welcome.

The library is gathering pictures and videos of the celebration of the Petersburgh bi-centennial in 1991.  If anyone has information please contact the library at 658-2927 during library hours.  Also, if anyone has pictures of historic Petersburgh please contact the library.  We can scan your photos while you wait if you set up an appointment at the library.

Check out the library website and see some of the photos of historic Petersburgh that have already been included.  Go to www.petersburghpubliclibrary.org and click on local history.  In the second paragraph on that page there is a link to the photographs.[/private]
