Sandra Mentiply

Hoosick Falls – Sandra Lee Mentiply, 73, passed away on Monday September 12, 2016 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington. [private]She resided on Nixon Street and was the wife of the late George Mentiply Sr., who died in 2008. Sandra was born on September 2, 1943, in Hoosick Falls and attended schools there. She was formerly employed at Stanley Tools in Bennington for twenty-five years. Sandra was a member of the Eagles in Hoosick Falls and enjoyed cooking, playing cards, coloring books and her dog “Hannah.” Survivors include her children Gay Bates (Dan) of Walloomsac, NY, Robert Mentiply (Nancy), Tina Mentiply and Jessica Gatus, all of Bennington, VT, Kim Mentiply, Chris Mentiply (Tracey), George Mentiply Jr. (Crystal) all of Hoosick Falls, grandchild Jeremy Mentiply all of Bennington, VT. Funeral services will be Friday September 16, at 11 am from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 am until the start of the service. Burial will follow the service at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hoosick Falls.[/private]
