Alan Rawling

Hoosick Falls

Alan B. Rawling, 58, passed away on Tuesday October 4, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Deborah (Danforth) Rawling of Shingle Hollow Road.

[private]Alan was born on November 30, 1957 in Pittsfield, MA, son of Bruce C. Rawling Sr. and the late Barbara (Miner) Rawling. Alan was employed by NSK in Bennington,VT and enjoyed working on cars. He was a proud grandfather.

Alan got great pleasure out of taking care of his yard.

Survivors include his two children Ashley Hunt (Eric) of Eagle Bridge, NY Alan BW “AJ” Rawling of Hoosick Falls, NY as well as his two grandchildren Hailey E. Rawling , Khloe Grace Rawling, his two step-grandchildren Taryn Hunt and James Hunt of Eagle Bridge, NY. Alan was also survived by his dog Bandit.

He was predeceased by his two dogs Buttercup and Chelsea.

Funeral services were held on Sunday October 9, at 4 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Sunday prior the service. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Karen and Molly McGovern Fund, Second Chance Animal Shelter or the HAYC3 Suicide Prevention Program through the funeral home.[/private]
