Brown’s Brewing Company Hosts Pumpkin Carving And Food Drive

Brown’s Brewing Company invites all ages to the Walloomsac Taproom in North Hoosick on Sunday, October 23 for Brown’s first Pumpkin Carving and Pizza Party from 3 to 5 pm.[private] Pumpkins, donated by Moses Farm and Hobson’s Choice, will be available free of charge along with carving tools (limited supply). Prizes will be awarded for cutest, scariest, most traditional, and best Brown’s inspired pumpkin.

Those who leave their carved pumpkin to decorate the brewery will be entered to win a $50 Brown’s gift card! In addition to our regular menu, the Roundhouse Bakery’s pizza truck will sell homemade pizzas during the party (until sold out).

Participants are asked to bring at least one non-perishable food item or personal care item to donate to the Hoosick Area Church Association Food Pantry which has an urgent need for goods. Individuals who bring ten items will receive a Brown’s Buy Your Friend a Beer Coin redeemable for a dessert (those under 21 only) or a pint of beer at Brown’s Troy or Walloomsac taprooms.

The HACA could use macaroni and cheese, baking mixes, condiments, juice, rice (1 lb boxes or bags), canned soups, canned potatoes, toilet paper, paper towels, bar soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and deodorant. The taproom will accept items now through October 30.
