Representatives from the County’s Chamber of Commerce and Bureau of Tourism were there, as was a representative from National Grid to talk about grants and help with economic development for communities like Hoosick and Hoosick Falls. The space where the meeting was held is the area where the 15 John Street Gallery used to be, which was more recently used for display of antiques offered by Yucelesque. A bar has been added and renovations have been done in a rustic style using wood that Erdogan found in the basement of the building. It is a very attractive space. The wine bar was approved by the Village Planning Board on Wednesday September 28. Erdogan still needs a State permit, but he hopes to get the wine bar up and running in a month or two.
