Hoosick Falls put 24 first half points on the board and easily cruised to victory Friday evening in Brunswick.

Tristan Hunt scored on an eight yard run, then Nick Giordano hauled in a 19 yard pass from Tomczak to pad the lead. David Everard had a 37 yard catch to highlight the third score drive. After each score a two point PAT was attempted and was successful.

Tamarac had chances to score, getting well into Panther territory several times, but each time they made a mistake that cost them. Either a fumble or a turnover put the Bengals out of reach of the goal line. Tamarac ended with five turnovers, two lost fumbles and three interceptions. Hoosick Falls had one lost fumble.

With the game out of reach, Tamarac did score in the fourth quarter on a one yard dive. The Panthers answered that with a Hunt seven yard run and a successful two point PAT.

Tomczak threw for 111 yards, going 9-17 with one touchdown. Hunt ran 19 times for 138 yards. Everard had 68 yards receiving on three catches.

This Friday, October 7, the Panthers (2-3) will be at home against Coxsackie – Athens (4-1). Game time is 7 pm. C-A defeated Cairo – Durham 61-6 last week. C-A has scored 30 or more points in every game except its loss to Watervliet in the first game of the season. Earlier in the season, C-A defeated Tamarac, 41-6.[/private]
