Robert Morrison

North Hoosick – Robert J. Morrison, 90, passed away on Saturday October 15, 2016 at the Albany Medical Center. Robert was the husband of the former Joan (Marker) Morrison.[private] He formerly resided in North Hoosick until recently living with his son Karl (Susan) Morrison.

Robert was born on September 5, 1926 in North Hoosick, NY, son of the late Hugh and Gertrude(McClure)Morrison. He was educated in the Hoosick Falls school system. He worked for 29 years at the General Electric plant in Waterford, NY. Robert enjoyed bow hunting and working in his gardens. He was a member of the White Creek Methodist Church.

Survivors include his two sons Karl Morrison(Susan) of Averill Park, NY, Kevin Morrison of North Hoosick, NY and his two grandchildren Jane Morrison of North Hoosick and Grady Morrison of Averill Park, NY.

Funeral services will be held on October 22, at noon from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 am till the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karen and Molly McGovern fund through the funeral home.[/private]
