The annual St. Mary’s event was held at the Town of Hoosick Athletic Fields on Sunday. The car show featured almost 80 cars of all types.[private] There were ‘70s muscle cars, roadsters, vintage trucks and some vehicle of almost any type you would like to see. Most of the vehicles hailed from within 100 miles of Hoosick Falls.

The owners of the vehicles voted on the Best of Show and Norman Humiston of Schuylerville was the winner with his 1931 Ford Model A All Steel car.
The highlight of the day was the Cow Plop Contest. An area of the field is divided into 520 squares, each three feet square, with the squares marked out on the grass in orange paint. Each square costs $20. The cows were let loose in the fence enclosed area to wander, sleep, eat grass and do about the only other thing cows do. When a cow did go, about an hour after they were released, it dropped on Dave Kwasniak’s square. Dave was a happy guy as the plop put $1,000 in his pocket.
There were areas for kids and vendors with sales of clothing, etc. and Kevin O’Malley provided music with his DJ setup. It was a nice event for all members of the family.[/private]
