Land Division Along Bly Hollow Road Brought Before The Berlin Planning Board
By Doug La Rocque
Jim Kellar, a forester from Massachusetts, carried forth plans to subdivide a 150-acre plot belonging to Eric Should. [private]The owner would retain about 33 acres and is looking to sell the remaining 117.
Kellar was representing Should, who lives in Rhode Island. He presented tax maps of the land, but was informed by the Planning Board he would have to have the land surveyed showing the two distinct plots. The Board presented him with the formal application and a short form environmental impact study to return to them at their next meeting, Thursday December 1. If everything is complete, the Board will then schedule a public hearing.
Board Chairwoman Pam Gerstel is asking if anyone would be interested in serving on the Planning Board. They are seeking another member to serve as an alternate when one of the five regular members indicates they will be absent. If interested in the position, please leave word at the Town Hall.[/private]
