Beth Ellen Hewitt

Johnsonville – Beth Ellen Hewitt, 44, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Born in Bennington, VT, she was the daughter of the late Donald Seward and Patricia Ellen Horton Hewitt, Jr. [private]She was a graduate of the Word of Life Bible Institute and loved Jesus and always looked forward to being with Him!

Beth loved animals, writing poetry and drawing. Her love for animals included her dog, ‘Honey Doo’, who she treated as the love of her life. She was a big Yankees fan and also a huge Giants fan, as well.

She is survived by her sisters: Karen (Mike) Donato of Averill Park, and Barbara Hewitt of Johnsonville; her Aunt Beverly and Uncle Jack Decoigne of Castleton, her Aunt Nancy (Phil) Caruso of Kenmore, her Uncle Timothy and Aunt Allie of Douglas, MA, her Uncle Fred (Carol) Horton of Delmar; and several nieces, nephews and cousins; and Linda Christian, the love of her life.

A memorial service will be held at Connecting Point Church, 568 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush, NY 12061, on Monday evening, December 26 at 7 pm, with the Rev. John Westfall, Pastor, officiating. Friends are invited and may call at the church beginning one hour prior to the service, at 6 pm. A time of sharing and fellowship will follow.
