Edward Frommer

Hoosick Falls – Edward S. Frommer Jr., 65, passed away on Sunday December 4, 2016 at his residence on White Street. He resided there with his partner Timothy Bullinger.

[private]Edward was born on December 29, 1950, in Albany, NY, son of the late Edward S. Frommer Sr. and Danielle (Cummings) of Nantucket, MA. Ob-FrommerwebHe served in the United States Navy from 1971-1972. Edward was employed by the N.Y.S. Health Department as a computer analyst and programmer. He was a good hearted, funny guy who liked to travel. He was an avid animal  lover and rescued many of his beloved cats. He was also a member of the St. Stanislaw Society.

Survivors other than his mother and partner include three sisters Denise Frommer (Mike) of Fort Edward, NY, Melissa Frommer of Kona, HI and Margaret Frommer of Harwich, MA, brother Stephen Frommer (Ellen) of Atlanta, GA, and several nieces and nephews. Edward is predeceased by a sister Pamela and two brothers, Thomas and Christopher.

Funeral services will be Thursday December 8 , at 7:30 pm from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls. Burial will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon/Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY on Friday at 10 am.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 pm until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter through the funeral home.[/private]
