Paula (Jones) Dixon

Berlin – Paula (Jones) Dixon, 59 of Berlin, NY passed peacefully in the comfort of her home with family on Friday, December 9, 2016. [private]She was born in Fort Dix, NJ on August 27, 1957 a daughter of Minnie (Stewart) Jones and the late Harold Jones. PaulaDixonwebShe graduated from Tamarac High School with the class of 1976. On November 17, 2007, she married Don Dixon. They enjoyed gardening, four-wheeling, going to movies and having dinner out at Benners Restaurant.

Paula loved her two dogs, Raye and Paisley, soap operas and TV judge shows. She was a devoted mother, wife and friend and enjoyed planning family gatherings including holidays and “Game Night.” She was known for her infectious laugh, beautiful contagious smile and huge heart. Those that knew her will remember her as always happy and making people laugh. She was an avid Yankee fan and Red Sox hater.

Survivors include her mother Minnie and husband Don of 12 years, daughter Kandace (Kugler) Videtto and her son Drake of Bennington, VT, son Josh Kugler of Bennington, VT and great-granddaughter Deklan Briggs. Also surviving her are a stepson, Lee Dixon of Albany, NY and her siblings Cathy Phillips, Howard Andre and Robin Jacobs.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday December 14 at 11 am at Our Lady of Snow Church on Owen Road in Grafton. Burial followed in the Berlin Community Cemetery. Relatives and friends visited at the Church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested for the Myeloma Foundation or the Second Chance Animal Shelter through the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247.
