Bowling Team Rolls Along

The Hoosick Falls Bowling team won all 4 points in a road match against North Warren on Wednesday, January 11. The Panthers finished with a pin total of 3246 to North Warren’s 2831 pins.[private] Sophomore James Hynd led the way for Hoosick Falls with a 264-585. Other top scores for the Panthers included: Chris Snyder 224-580, AJ Hurlburt 204-571, Tyler Lindsey 201, Meghan Backes 213. For the JV Panthers scores included: Brody Mullen 190, Evan Webster 176, Matt Bulson 174 and Erin McCart 171. With the win Hoosick Falls improved their point record to 38-6.

The Hoosick Falls Bowling team won all 4 points in a home match against Saratoga Catholic on Thursday, January 12. The Panthers finished with a pin total of 3423 to Saratoga Catholic’s 2780 pins.  Junior co-caption AJ Hurlburt led Hoosick Falls with a 238-702 while Terel Tillman led Saratoga Catholic with a 212-559.  Other top scores for Hoosick Falls included: Chris Snyder 225-626, Jon Bossoni 208-585, Tyler Lindsey 234-564 and James Hynd 191-511.  The JV Panthers also posted some good scores: Erin McCart 233-576, Matt Bulson 212-557, Brody Mullen 181-517, Dan Suite 183 and Colin King 179.  Hoosick Falls now has a 42-6 point record.  The team hopes to keep its momentum at two important home matches this week, against Hoosic Valley on Tuesday January 17 and Stillwater on Thursday, January 19. [/private]
