Bowling Team Turns In A Strong Performance

The Hoosick Falls Bowling team had their highest match total of the year as they won all 4 points in a home match against Stillwater on Thursday.  The Panthers finished with a pin total of 3698 to Stillwater’s 2758 pins. [private][/private]

Senior co-captain Jon Bossoni had the Panther’s high game and series of the year so far with a 269-753.  The rest of the varsity bowlers followed along with scores including: Chris Snyder 248-640, AJ Hurlburt 236-638, James Hynd 235-592, Meghan Backes 222-568 and Tyler Lindsey 194-507.

For Stillwater Britaney Myers 219—626 and Kris Ray 189-519 had good days.  Hoosick Fall’s winning effort extended well past the Varsity Bowlers.  The JV and Modified Panthers had some excellent scores including: Erin McCart 238-620, Matt Bulson 214-571, Dan Suite 204-523, Owynn Arnold 193-511, Brody Mullen 175-509, Evan Webster 224 and Patrick Smith 179.

Hoosick Falls boosts their record to 46-6 with the win. They will take a week off from matches for midterms before returning to action on Tuesday January 31 in an away contest against Granville. [/private]
